This is my first photomanipulation tutorial in Adobe Fireworks CS4 which requires only a few steps to complete, and would be very effective to convey a meaning in your design / website header.

Before using a photograph that you find in the web, make sure to check the rules on using the photograph / stock image. Some have stock rules that you must comply before posting it in your website / blog or for commercial use. There are tons of free stock images that you can use for your personal / commercial projects, I highly suggest you get your images from deviantart.

Adobe Fireworks Download of the Week – DragonAge Shield

I made the symbol in the center by tracing the dragon image in the website, or search for dragon age warden’s quest to get a full version of the dragon symbol , since the official site only offers the partial view of the dragon.

Creating A Night Scene in Adobe Fireworks 8

This was my first Adobe Fireworks tutorial for the Adobe Design Center two years ago. It teaches you to create starts, clouds and a shiny moon =) , too bad the Alien Skin Filters have been discountinued  on fireworks cs3 and cs4 , but I’ll do my best to make an updated version of this tutorial someday without using the Alien Skin filters.
