Adobe Fireworks Tutorial – Creating A Candy Button

In this Adobe Fireworks tutorial , you will learn how I created those nice looking icons ( twitter , rss , mail ) icons in the top right area of my header, and the social media icon pack I submitted here


Before you view this youtube video tutorial , read some handy tips below :

When drawing using the rectangle tool , if you want an equal height + width , you must hold down the shift button.

Use the hue/saturation filter to change the color of the button.

For the graphic / letter / symbol inside the button , keep it simple, preferably a light solid color with no effects.

    Thinking of learning Fireworks long time ago. But still not yet started. Only work on Photoshop and Premiere so far…
